INGLAS PROVE SM

We calculate light transmittance and solar protection effect (G-value and cut off) during the early planning phase to find out the optimal solar protection geometry for your facade.

Elementary and effective solar protection for U-profiled glazing

INGLAS PROVE SM is a highly effective solar protection device. Even in midsummer the solar energy input of a southward oriented facade will be reduced to 100 W/sqm and less.

Types and Properties
U-profiled glass K22/60/7, K25/60/7, K33/60/7
Max. length 5 m
Material Aluminum natural / anodized
Cut-off angle 15° to  40°
G-values 15% to 35%
U-values < 1,5 W/m2K

INGLAS PROVE SM, solar protection made of expanded metal sheet in U-profiled double glazing:

  • with total shadowing (cut off) starting at a defined altitude of the sun (e.g. for elevation angles above 25°)
  • ideal sun protection effect for south, west and east facades
  • G-value adapted to the individual customer demand
  • results in an evident reduction of U-value for appliance in industrial buildings, colesiums, festival halls and residential buildings.

The shape of PROVE SM fits perfectly to the U-profile and is mounted inside the inner space of all double glazing with 60 mm side length.

Above a typical elevation angle (cut-off) direct sunlight is suppressed by INGLAS PROVE SM. Elements can be offered with solar protection starting at 10° cut-off.
